Savona. Great success on Monday at the meeting on the Pelagos Sanctuary, to learn about the cetaceans of our sea, the marine mammals and the biodiversity of the Ligurian Sea and the Marine Protected Area of the Island of Bergeggi. A fascinating journey to discover the incredible beauty that hides in front of our coasts, underwater.
The cetaceans of the Ligurian Sea, a conference event held thanks to the biologists of the Menkab Association in the Sala Della Sibilla, at Priamar, organized by the Municipality of Savona for the students of the city’s schools.
During the event, the Menkab biologists, also thanks to video projections, showed the students the unique images collected during the Association’s over 20 years of activity, also describing the monitoring and protection projects of the marine environment and with the Marine Protected Area of the Island of Bergeggi.
Great interest on the part of the children who were thus able to discover the Pelagos sanctuary with the cetaceans, mammals and biodiversity of the Ligurian Sea and the protected marine area of the Savona Island.
