The Carabinieri of the Anti-adulteration and Health Unit of Livorno, as part of the services arranged by the superior Command for the Protection of Health aimed at searching for products dangerous for the health of consumers, reported to the administrative authority a forty-year-old foreigner who owns a commercial business of the center of Livorno.

In fact, following a check carried out, it emerged that various objects were on sale in the shop, such as adhesive sticks for the face, decorative rhinestones, removable tattoos, with labels which did not contain the information, which is mandatory based on the so-called “consumer code” which provides precautions for use for the correct use of the product to protect consumer safety.

For this reason, the military carried out the precautionary seizure of approximately 240 packages of non-compliant products, corresponding to the overall estimated value of 1,300 euros, and for this reason imposed an administrative fine of 1,032 euros on the owner.
