The police seized the masks, along with wigs, balaclavas, weapons and drugs, in via Enrico Cosenz, a stone’s throw from Naples Central Station.

The most singular discovery concerns the masks, probably used to misrepresent faces during robberies or other criminal actions: 4 of these reproduce Guy Fawkes, a character from “V for Vendetta”, cult film based on the graphic novel by Alan Moore; another mask instead reproduces the face of Brian Cranston, protagonist of the series “Breaking Bad” with his Walter White. Together with the masks, the police then seized numerous wigs and other material suitable for misrepresentation.

As mentioned, there was also no shortage of weapons and drugs found: the military seized 3 fully functional semi-automatic pistols, with serial number abraded, a blank pistol and 758 bullets of various calibers; Furthermore, 8 wrappers containing a total of 650 grams of marijuana were seized.

The Carabinieri’s investigations continue to shed light: the seized weapons will be subjected to ballistic tests, aimed at verifying their possible use in recent news events, while the seized masks, wigs and balaclavas will also be analysed.
