Discounted rate for Varese visitors Villa and Panza Collection: until September 2024, all citizens of the Varese capital will be able to visit the FAI – Italian Environment Fund asset on Colle di Biumo for €7.50, i.e. with a 50% discount on the entrance ticket to the villa. A special occasion dedicated to the residents of Varese to discover Villa and Panza Collection, offering a real contemporary art experience inside the Villa and its magnificent garden.
Villa and Collection Panza, a property donated to the FAI by Giuseppe Panza di Biumo in 1996 and open to the public since 2000, is an eighteenth-century villa that houses a famous collection of contemporary art, important temporary exhibitions of national and international artists and a busy program of events, including concerts, conferences, workshops for schools, activities for families.
The Foundation’s initiative falls within the scope of three-year memorandum of understanding signed at the end of 2023 with the Municipality of Varese for the cultural relaunch of the area, and is aimed at bringing the Villa ever closer to the city. The agreement signed with the Municipality strengthens a long-standing collaboration with the Foundation which is divided into the dissemination and promotion of cultural initiatives in order to support the development of events and festivals, as well as the creation of discounted rates for citizens for the use of Villa Panza, its contemporary art collection and the splendid Italian garden.
