(Sixth Power) – Forlì – 8 May 2024 – Confedilizia Forlì-Cesena expresses its “heartfelt thanks” to Vincenzo Bongiorno, for the work carried out in the last more than five years, as general secretary of the Association at provincial level, a role in which he was was appointed in December 2018.
The president of Confedilizia Forlì-Cesena, Carlo Caselli, (in the photo above) highlights: “Bongiorno’s contribution has helped us grow as an Association in recent years. His commitment has always been characterized by seriousness, competence, commitment, humility, ability to listen and teamwork.” Caselli then recalls some of the projects carried out in recent years with Bongiorno: “To recall the main ones, it was very important in implementing the information lounges, inspired in Confedilizia Forlì-Cesena by Libero Baccini. He led the Association to collaborate with two projects of which he was one of the creators, namely “Change VITA” in collaboration with the Municipality of Rocca San Casciano, to bring residents back to live in our hills and mountains; the Pellegrinian Days, aimed at valorising the San Pellegrino Laziosi area of Forlì, investigating and reflecting on the relationship between science and faith. He played an important representative role, he spoke 4 times at the national organizational assembly of Confedilizia. He has shown great ability to bring different realities into contact and collaborate, he coordinated and took care of various initiatives for the 90th anniversary of Confedilizia Forlì-Cesena, celebrated in 2023″.
And Caselli then adds: “With a certain regret for his decision, as a candidate in the administrative elections of 8 and 9 June, not to make himself available during the renewal of the associative bodies on 11 May and resigning from the position of General Secretary of the association, it confirms his seriousness as a man and we are certain that he will be an important resource for Forlì, in his renewed commitment”.
On his mandate as general secretary of Confedilizia Forlì-Cesena, Bongiorno states: “I thank you for your trust and esteem, which I sincerely reciprocate. It was an honor to collaborate with the president Carlo Caselli, with the deputy president Stefano Senzani (the three in the photo alongside), with the vice president Silvia Giorgioni and with the whole team. As a candidate for administrative elections, although there is no legal impediment, I still believe it is good to be free from association responsibilities. My path over the last few years in Confbuilding Forlì-Cesena has helped me grow, an authoritative and industrious reality for the good of Forlì and the territory, with over 90 years of history behind it”.
