The new berths at the Porto Isola breakwater were inaugurated this morning. The project, carried out by Eni, entrusted to Jacobs, is the last piece of the imposing renovation project of the harbor following the terrible storm of November 1991 which caused the ditching of two merchant ships and extensive damage to the port structure. The new roadbed, the moorings and the mooring structures built in the area of the dam, an outpost of the port bay a couple of miles from the coast and at a depth of 9 metres.
