The police intervened last night near Via Marconi following a report of a subject who showed a psychophysical state of alteration due to the abuse of narcotic substances. Once on site the man was identified, he was a 43-year-old of Cameroonian origin, legal in the national territory and with numerous precedents for crimes against the person and against property. At the sight of the operators, the man showed a hostile and non-cooperative attitude. In particular, when asked to show a document to the operators, the man first pushed a policeman and then began a brief escape into the surrounding streets which ended shortly after as the man was chased from both directions by a police car on one side and by operators on the other. Despite this, the man continued to scream and rant towards the police, even using offensive phrases. The subject was taken to the offices in via Gervasoni and there he was found in possession of a narcotic substance hidden inside the jacket he was wearing, inside a transparent cellophane wrapper. The hashish-type substance, weighing approximately 2.21 grams, was seized. Despite everything, the man did not calm down his attitude and therefore, being in a state of strong alteration, the police asked for the intervention of healthcare personnel to provide the necessary treatment. The man was reported in a state of freedom for the crimes of resisting and insulting a public official and for possession of the narcotic substance pursuant to art. 75 Presidential Decree 309/90. A few hours ago, the Police Commissioner of Ancona issued the prevention measure against him Mandatory Street Sheet towards man, in consideration of his social danger and in consideration of his numerous precedents. With this measure he ordered him to immediately leave the territory of the municipality of Ancona and prohibited him from returning for three years. Since 1 January 2023 and up to today, 209 street orders have been issued against individuals dangerous to public order and safety, 61 of these since 1 January of the current year alone. Furthermore, at present they are all executive measures, with a dispute in favor, considering the fact that the appeals presented were all settled in favor of the Administration.
