One thousand three hundred cyclists are expected on Sunday 12 May at the starting line of the race: not just a sporting event, but a real journey into history.

Turin – One hundred and eleven kilometers and over two thousand meters of altitude difference, for a cycling challenge to discover the Piedmontese territories: Sunday 12 Maystarting from 8 am, the numerous participants in the Granfondo Internazionale Briko® Torino will be called upon to tackle the race route, which will start from the historic Motovelodromo Fausto Coppi in Corso Casale in Turin and will end in front of the Basilica of Superga touching, among the various stages , also the town of Castelnuovo Don Bosco.

The Granfondo Internazionale Briko® Torino is a unique example of a mass cycling event held in a metropolitan city like Turin, one of the most important in Italy in terms of landscape. To reiterate the importance of the event, the presence of some international guests from the world of cycling, such as the new Briko® bike testimonial Niki Terpstra, a Dutch champion who boasts a victory in the Paris-Roubaix and a Flanders, and two professional athletes of the VF Group-Bardiani CSF-Faizanè, Davide Gabburo and Samuele Zoccarato. Among the well-known faces from the world of sport and entertainment, the former champion and current Briko® testimonial Peter Fill will be present, but also the special guests Fabrizio Ravanelli and Marco Bellavia.

This ninth edition also brings with it something new: all participants in the event will be able to receive their photos taken during the race and donated by Briko® via the GetPica platform.

Briko®, Title Sponsor of the Granfondo, is also the supplier of the commemorative jersey for the event; this year too, the selection of the shirt took place through a vote on social media, aimed at the numerous enthusiasts who selected it from some proposals.

GFBT JERSEY it is a technical shirt designed and created specifically for the Granfondo Internazionale Briko® Torino. It is made using two different fabrics, the main textured to give an elegant pattern and guarantee maximum grip and comfort.
