MARSALA. “The playground I would like” is the title of the initiative scheduled for Saturday 11 May 2024, at 10.30 am, in the Digerbato complex (Mario Nuccio Institute – Marsala), which involves various local bodies and associations, but above all children and families to create together with new free and permanent services, accessible to all, such as an inclusive playground, strongly desired by the community itself, as evidenced by the pupils’ poems and drawings, put on display at the event.
The event is organized by the Solidalia Consortium, leading body of the Micropolis project, selected by Con i Bambini as part of the Fund to combat child educational poverty, promotes the creation of free microspaces for children and is realized thanks to the precious collaboration of the ‘Mario Nuccio Institute, of the Maria SS Parish. of the Cava, of the ContradeAlCentro association, of Eduverso, of the Archè Onlus Association and of the social carpentry of Sappusi in collaboration with Ussm (Social Service Office for Minors).
Space and voice will be given to the children of the districts to bring out the dreams and desires of the community, also trying to materialize a need that has emerged within the Micropolis space, that of an inclusive playground, in the space in front of the school, capable not only of offer educational and fun opportunities to all children, but also play a crucial role in encouraging the acceptance of differences and creating an environment in which everyone can feel an integral part. In fact, as part of the project actions, the partner “Fondazione Comunitaria Agrigento Trapani” has planned a crowdfunding action, created in collaboration with Intesa San Paolo for the creation of the space.

The Micropolis project was selected by Con i Bambini as part of the Fund to combat child educational poverty.
