Last Sunday, on the occasion of the men’s Serie B2 derby against Villa Carpena Forlì, the group of Ball Boys (the ball boys) organized within the Tennis School of the club in via Medaglie d’Oro. These are about fifteen very young people who have decided to watch their teachers’ official matches “on the pitch”. «In Serie B2 the presence of ball boys is optional, but we have decided to organize them to show our very young players how the players behave on the pitch – explains Mattia Bandini, player and coach of the Tennis Club Faenza – The first experience was positive and we will try to repeat it every time our men’s B2 team plays at home.”
The Faenza Ball Boys are Angie Bentini, Denny Bentini, Liam Lanzoni, Carlotta Cova, Caterina Cova, Stefano Scotto di Gregorio, Manuel Montefiori, Ian Catallo, Lucrezia Vanni, Lorenzo Cornacchia, Riccardo Venturini, Giambattista Merlini, Diego Tarlazzi, Federico Montuschi and Sofia Muccinelli.
