MESSINA – Another confirmation from Akademia Sant’Anna. This is the spiker Aurora Rossetto, born in 1997 and 188 cm tall. The lateral striker, originally from Cittadella (PD), will spend another season on the shores of the Strait, after having collected 31 appearances (between the Championship and the Italian Cup) and scored 212 points in the tournament spent with the club from Messina. (157 in attack with a percentage of 32.8%, 31 blocks and 24 aces). After the hiring of the setter Giulia Carraro and the confirmation of the central Dalila Modestino, the roster that will aim to conquer the A1 series in the next sporting year is taking shape. The two confirmations were expected and a little anticipated by the company via social media, from now on communications will only arrive regarding new purchases about which there is a lot of curiosity.
Rossetto’s characteristics and past
Reliable, precious in the reception and defense phase, Aurora is an athlete with great technique and a lot of personality; she makes the fundamentals of attack and blocking her strong point, as well as having demonstrated great adaptability over time, having also been used in the opposite role when necessary. The confirmation of Aurora Rossetto will allow the quality of the staff available to coach Bonafede to be maintained high for next season, supporting the company’s line of wanting to build a solid roster in every department and capable of aiming for the declared objective without obstacles.
Raised in the Pool Patavium Padova, Aurora’s youth volleyball team developed above all in the two years spent between Anderlini Modena – where in the 2014/2015 season it played the B2 series and the Under 18 category championship – and Argentario Trento, always in B2. The following year she returned to Padua, in B1, first with Amat and, later, with Aduna Volley. Afterwards, she moved to Volley Pordenone, still in B1 and then landed at Volley Noventa and, shortly thereafter, made her debut in Serie A2 in the 2020/2021 championship wearing the Martignacco shirt. In the Friulian center – where the other confirmed player, Dalila Modestino, also plays – she stops for two seasons, demonstrating her remarkable qualities to the full. Before arriving in Messina last summer, you played a leading championship with the Talmassons shirt.
