The inauguration takes place on May 9th Milan Civil Week 2024, at 4.30 pm in the Palazzo Giureconsulti headquarters in Piazza Mercanti in Milan, with the intervention of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, connected from Rome.
From 9 to 12 May, over five hundred events and initiatives will be held which will enliven the Metropolitan City of Milan, with a program full of culture, entertainment and debates open to the public.

Civil Week is the event – created by the Cariplo Foundation, Corriere della Sera and Third Sector Forum, in collaboration with the CSV, Volunteer Service Center – which promotes civic sense to build more inclusive communities through initiatives spread across the Milanese metropolitan area. An initiative that goes well beyond the borders of the capital to get closer to us, with quality events proposed by the many voluntary and third sector associations, thanks to the Ticino Olona Foundation which acts as a stimulus and connection having explained its objectives and methods in the two January meetings in Legnano and Magenta.

The President of the Community Foundation, Salvatore Fortethus answers the question Why participate in Civil Week 2024?

“To give voice to the world of the Third Sector and bring out its potential, as a catalyst for positive change for the whole community. In this way it will be possible to involve more and more citizens in actions of solidarity, participation and civic sense”.
