GALLARATE – They met last night, May 7th Lega, Lista Cassani, Fratelli d’Italia and Centro Popular to face yet another majority crisis triggered by Forza Italia. The outcome of the meeting will be announced on mayor Andrea Cassani with unequivocal words: «Ttoday and tomorrow we will decide who to put on the council».
Never again with Mucci
The mayor explains: «For Forza Italia the conditions were clear: we no longer want to have anything to do with their coordinator Nicola Mucci». And he adds: «It is evident that for some time he has no longer collaborated to administer in the interests of the city but driven by other issues that frankly do not even interest us and which in any case do not coincide with the objectives of this administration. Forza Italia knows this and legitimately makes its own choices. With his attitude Mucci continues to be disrespectful to the other coordinators and to all the majority members”.
Reshuffle of the council
The allies contest thethe wavering attitude of the blues, in particular when they agree on the line to follow but then declare the opposite in the press, or when in the Commission they vote differently compared to what was also decided by their representative in the council, the deputy mayor Rocco Longobardi. Therefore, unless in extremis FI distances itself from its coordinator, for him the experience in the executive seems to have come to an end. Cassani comments: «We are no longer interested in having a party in coalition that behaves in this way. It is now clear that Mucci’s interest is not in being in the majority nor in doing good for the city. We are therefore carrying out a series of assessments on people for do the council reshuffle».
