A circular from the parents’ committee, signed by the coordinator Cinzia Di Roma, had in fact alarmed the students’ families. “Kindly – we read in the circular that arrived on the parents’ WhatsApp groups – give maximum diffusion in the classes and let us all try to collaborate and pay attention to the situation”. According to what the families say, in fact, a boy, acting “suspicious”, was noticed near the building: “Some parents claim to have seen him wandering around the school until around 8.30″, it is clarified. Also useful is the description of the man who is causing concern among the families: «He is – we read in the note – a boy with European features in his 20s or 30s, tall, light brown hair almost blond, green eyes, build normal, sporty dress with an open hooded sweatshirt of a grayish color and a heavy canvas backpack with an open and ramshackle military look”.
The committee
It seems, the parents’ committee of the King David institute continues, “that he enters the school gates alone, without children to accompany”, then, he makes a wide circle around the entire building and the classes and exits. The man, among other things, was also spotted in recent days by the policeman who is usually outside the school, “but when he tried to stop him – the parents still say – he ran away”. There is therefore still a lot of concern among the families, who were nevertheless relieved yesterday by the presence of the police patrol, but only during the phase of the pupils’ entry into the institute. However, there is no control when school groups leave.
The 14th King David educational circle Gandhi complex is the primary school located in the heart of the city of Bari. It is an educational institution that stands out in the neighborhood for the quality of its teaching and for the attention it pays to the world of childhood and the needs of the youngest. The school is, among other things, a point of reference for the local community.
