L’Aquila, guided tours with the “Mamme per L’Aquila” association

L’AQUILA – Guided tours of L’Aquila resume with an eye on families and children. The initiative, promoted by the Association in collaboration with the well-known L’Aquila tourist guide Carla Cicozzi and Mag, had already been successfully proposed in 2019 and is now back in vogue in view of the Jubilee of 2025 and the title of City of Culture in 2026.

The aim is to make the city known not only to children, but also to families in general, both from L’Aquila and from abroad. The visits, which will take place starting from May 12th and throughout the summer, will be an opportunity to discover the most interesting “gems” of the city under the expert guidance of Carla Cicozzi.

The Association, which has always worked hard to make L’Aquila child-friendly, is determined to continue in this direction even if its children have now grown up.

The Association’s “influencer mothers”, whom we thank, will give their contribution to promoting the initiative on social media.

The first appointment is for Sunday 12 May. The meeting is set for 11am at Porta Rivera, in front of 99 Cannelle. Reservation is free and compulsory and there is no age restriction (anyone aged 0 to 100 can participate!). The day will be interspersed with a small picnic at Parco del Sole, before continuing with a guided tour of the city.
