Viterbo – Former mayor Arena intervenes after criticism on the municipality’s Facebook page: “After 2 years of Covid emergency with the necessary proportions, what celebrations should we have had?”

Viterbo – We receive and publish – I note with some surprise that, in response to the barrage of criticisms coming from many citizens of Viterbo towards the mayor Frontini, the prefect responded in her stead, almost as if to justify the inelegant behavior of the toasts published on social media at the end of the defused, just when citizens, even the most fragile, were starting to return to their homes with difficulty.
The prefect coordinated the law enforcement operations in an exemplary manner, with the bomb squad demonstrating once again their great professionalism.
I believe, however, that publishing the toast at that moment was out of place.
I remember that, once the critical phase of Covid was over, all those involved congratulated each other with a handshake, aware that they had carried out their duty by continuing, each according to their own skills, the assistance to the citizens who had suffered so much.
The worries of two years of pandemic didn’t let us sleep at night. With due proportions, what kind of celebrations should we have had at the end of the emergency?
