Restrictions on traffic in the center of Rho in conjunction with the events planned in Piazza San Vittore on Saturday and Sunday for the patron saint’s day.
Prevention Day and San Vittore Festival
On Saturday, the Prevention Day is planned, created in collaboration with Asst Rhodense to protect the health of citizens in the central square and the Farmers’ Market in Largo Don Rusconi; while on Sunday the San Vittore Festival is scheduled, linked to the celebration of the patron saint San Vittore Martire, whose anniversary falls today, Wednesday 8 May, the day on which the municipal offices will remain closed, with the exception of the local police headquarters.
Traffic ban also for residents, the farmers’ market in Largo Don Rusconi
For the “Prevention Day” there will be gazebos and information stands in the square: therefore from 8am to 3pm a transit ban will also be established for authorized residents (together with the ban on parking with forced removal. The farmers’ market will take place in Largo Don Giulio Rusconi, from 8.30 to 12.30. Even in those spaces, no transit or parking is permitted during the times when the stalls will be present.
For the San Vittore festival on Sunday, the presence of stalls from local agricultural producers is expected
For the San Vittore Festival on Sunday, the presence of stalls of agricultural producers in the area is expected, as well as agricultural vehicles, animals from the farms, and restaurateurs who will distribute risotto to all those present at 7.30pm: it will not be possible from 7am to 9pm nor pass through or stop in Piazza San Vittore, Largo Casati and Largo Don Rusconi. The initiatives are conceived by Davo, Valle Olona Agricultural District. The courtyard of the Town Hall will be available to participants in the event. Also in this case, transit ban also for authorized residents and parking ban with forced removal in Piazza San Vittore, in Largo Casati and in Largo Don Rusconi. Parking ban also in part of the courtyard of the Town Hall.
