Raise your glasses: the Chianti Classico Wine Consortium celebrates its first 100 years together with the city of Florence. One hundred years ago after its establishment in Radda in Chianti, the Chianti Classico Consortium established its offices in the historic Palazzo Uguccioni in Piazza della Signoria, in Florence. Today, on an exceptional occasion, the historic headquarters of the Consortium resumes its ancient role, to share with all citizens what Chianti Classico wine is today.

The program

There are 9 events that will enliven the weekend of 10-12 May, presenting the most current faces of the denomination, including: 5 meetings with as many starred chefs from Florence, who will present some of their creations paired with Gallo Nero wine together with Leonardo Romanelli; 1 musical pairing between great pieces of rock history and vintages of Chianti Classico, conducted by Filippo Bartolotta; finally making way for young people, with 2 moments dedicated to the Young Black Roosters, that is, to those producers under 40 who today take up the baton of previous generations and project themselves towards the future, with the moderation of Simon Staffler.
