9 May ’78 – Caltanissetta – the Heel of Bacchus

The May 9, 1978 Italy stopped. Shocked by the discovery of two bodies, that of the Honourable Aldo Moro and that of Peppino Impastato.

The Honorable Moro killed after 55 days of imprisonment and Peppino Impastato after a life of anti-mafia militancy. 46 years later FIRST FIFTH decides to remember that tragic day as part of the closing of the first year of studies for new students students
of the Canper laboratory
. An opening to the public with evocative moments, reflections aloud, beautiful lyrics and music.

The staging once again of Aldo Rapè who oversaw the laboratory with the inclusion of other professional figures such as Alba Bifarella of Fly Dance and Mariangela Rizza of Mast 79.

The final moment will also have an educational purpose as the show will be staged in the form of an open rehearsal for some schools that have joined the initiative.
Because memory is commitment, the courage of one’s ideas.

CanPer – LABORATORIES
CanPer/ A journey beyond the theatre, towards LIFE CanPer (Permanent Construction Site) is a school for actors with a well-defined educational program which intends to act as a means of valorising the theatrical arts, in all its rich differences and facets. It is a pedagogical project that aims to investigate the art of theater immersed in contemporaneity but with the solidity of traditions and knowledge of the Mediterranean arts. It also tends, through a real journey of human and artistic growth, to accompany the student actor in search of his own personal artistic vision, through his own means and with in-depth knowledge of specifically theatrical ones: the voice, work on the body, practice, discipline and constant study.
