Viterbo – “Dry fountains, did you know that the maintenance contract would expire in December”. Instead, once we reach May the water doesn’t flow and Andrea Micci (Lega) can’t explain why.

“The contract ran from last June until December – Micci recalls during the financial statement discussion – it was known that it would expire and instead nothing was done.
You can’t always blame others or something that happens, like the mysterious computer system that went down. It may have caused some problems, but at this point it’s a narrative that no longer holds up.”
Also because the monumental fountains were the reason for the battle of Viterbo 2020, the movement of the mayor Frontini. “When he was in opposition we chained ourselves because they were crumbling.”
Then they went to the government and left them directly without water.
And if the ordinary doesn’t work, let alone the extraordinary. “You announced – Micci reminds the council – that you would maintain two a year on an extraordinary basis. Two years have passed since that promise and we still have zero controlled fountains. Does this mean that in 2024 you will do six to recover?”.
Difficult. “There isn’t a single euro in the budget”. A bit like water.
