The LBA Awards presented by UnipolSai they come more and more to the fore: from 7 to 12 May fans and enthusiasts will be able to express their preferences, after registering on the LBA website and app, to award the Lega Basket Serie A prizes dedicated to the protagonists of the UnipolSai Serie A regular season 2023-2024.
On May 14th, the placings from 10th to 4th for the MVP award will be revealed and the names of the players who will make up the podium, indicated in random order, before the announcement scheduled for the 15th Maythe date on which the winners of all the other prizes will also be revealed.
In the first phase, a specialized panel made up of the media and community and, for the first time, all the players of the 16 clubs in Serie A participated in the voting for the various individual awards. Together with the coaches and head coaches and a manager for each team, there were thus expressed the preferences for two awards that were introduced this season: the LBA Referee Of The Year, awarded to the best referee of the 2023/24 regular season, and the LBA Executive Of The Year for the best official (the latter voted only by managers, coaches, media and community).
Among the novelties of this edition is the Play of the Year – Doctor Glass award, dedicated to the most spectacular play of the 2023 – 24 regular season and the only award that will be voted only by fans and enthusiasts on Friday 10 May on the LBA’s social channels.
