Atalanta Under 23 to advance to the next round of the Serie C Now Playoffs

In the first round of the Serie C Now Playoffs the Gialloblù lost 3-1 against Atalanta Under 23. After Trento’s initial advantage with Spalluto, the Lombards found the net with Cissè, Bonfanti and Jimenez. With this defeat the good season of the Trentino team ends, as they exit the Playoffs.
In the first round of the Serie C Now Playoffs, Trento was defeated 3-1 by Atalanta Under 23. After the yellow-blue goal, scored by Spalluto, the home team scored three times thanks to the goals of Cissè, Bonfanti and Jimenez, directing the challenge and the pass to the next round of the Playoffs towards Bergamo. At the end of the first half there were two significant episodes: in the 44th minute Trento came close to gaining a new lead with Cappelletti’s header but instead it was Atalanta who celebrated, in full injury time, with Bonfanti’s aerial strike.
In the second half, the home team played with greater determination and found the final 3-1 goal in the 82nd minute with Jimenez.
As a result of the defeat, Trento ends their season this evening. Francesco Modesto’s Atalanta advances to the next round of the Serie C Now Playoffs.

«Today we conclude our journey into the Playoffs. We put everything we had into play.
«We knew that we would face a strong team that, within its squad, has players who will soon play in different categories.
«It’s sad because we even managed to take the lead but, unfortunately, we then conceded three of their goals.
