Unieuro Forlì also won game 2 with a solid and attentive performance. Vigevano has the merit of entering the match with a better attitude than in game 1; however, it wasn’t enough because once Forlì took a significant advantage at the beginning of the third period, they were no longer able to reopen the match which effectively ended early like in the previous match. Great performance by all the people from Forlì, the only flaw is thePollone’s injury at the start of the race.
This time Vigevano didn’t make a mistake in his approach to the match, taking to the field immediately with determination. However, Forlì initially leads, with 5 points in a row. A few minutes pass and Elachem takes advantage of a very hot hand from long range to overturn the score, partial 9-0. Fear for Sucker limping out at 7′. Despite this, Unieuro regrouped, putting their noses ahead at the end of the quarter thanks to the excellent impact of Zampini and Magro.
Wideman, the guests’ top scorer, starts again with two triples in a row. The Romagna players responded again with Zampini and a rediscovered Johnson (6 points in a row), a bit in the shade in the first half. Coach Martino enters the fray Munari, which for a good 7′ does very well. Fortunately, Pollone returns. It gets tough for Vigevano: he tries and scores regularly but Forlì always responds blow for blow. The deficit never goes below double figures, the guests lose two players for 5 fouls and Unieuro continues to hammer: game closed. It ends 84-69. Series: 2-0.
