Audace Cerignola’s adventure in the playoffs begins with a draw. The protagonist, once again, was Filippo D’Andrea, the yellow and blue’s top scorer who broke the deadlock in the 27th minute of the first half with a precise header assisted by Tascone. The guests returned to the game in the 40th minute thanks to Salvemini and attempted a coup in the second half, coming very close to doubling their lead in the final minutes when Visentin avoided the 1-2 draw with a providential save on the line.
On Saturday we return to the field with the second round, when Audace will visit Casertana – the team with the worst placing in the regular season being among the qualifiers – who finished fourth in the championship.
