Atalanta Under 23 wins its first historic round of the playoffs by beating Trento 3-1 thanks to goals from Cisse, Bonfanti and Jimenez.
Trento took the lead after just 6′ thanks to Spalluto who received the ball from Obaretin and only had to put it into the net. The U23 boys did not let themselves be intimidated and, in the 14th minute, the equalizer arrived with a shot from Cisse who took advantage of the deflection on Jimenez’s pass and scored the 1-1 goal. In the 24th minute Bonfanti tries with a shot from outside but the ball goes just wide. Thrill for the Nerazzurri in the 44th minute with Cappelletti who turns the header without however framing the target. In the 47th minute Bonfanti scores following a corner kick. The first half ends with the Nerazzurri leading 2-1.
Balanced recovery until the 81st minute with Jimenez who skilfully enters the area and scores with his left foot, bringing the result to 3-1.
