Between Fedez and Codacons the war is finally over? So it would seem, at least from the words of the consumer association. The trial against Fedez for slander against Codacons could in fact end before the next hearing, given that the president of Codacons, Carlo Rienzidecided to accept the armistice proposal put forward yesterday by Fedez through a journalist present at the hearing before the Court of Rome.

The armistice between Codacons and Fedez

Rienzi invited the rapper on May 16th to Taranto, in front of the former Ilva headquarters, «to raise through his notoriety the problem of the workers and citizens of Taranto who continue to get sick and die due to the pollution produced by steelworks. This would be an important gesture, more than any fundraising, to raise awareness among public opinion and institutions on the need to better reconcile the right to work with the right to health, starting from the assumption that people’s lives always come before economic profit ».

«We are meeting Fedez for next May 16th in Taranto when Codacons will deliver to 30 workers who have suffered medical damage due to the steelworks the compensation obtained in their favor by our association, which represented the workers in a legal case which ended with a complete victory”, concludes Rienzi. For now, no response has yet arrived from Fedez.
