TOURISM AND SUBSIDIES, FAVORABLE TIME FOR PADUA
Trade is lifeblood for any territory. It is therefore fundamental for Administrations and trade associations to always maintain high attention on the performance of local commercial realities. It is useful to create events and make the most of the potential that every Italian village, municipality or city is able to offer. Padua is certainly fortunate from a historical and cultural point of view. In fact, there are countless possibilities in the city capable of attracting tourists from all over the world: the cycle of frescoes recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site, the Basilica del Santo, Palazzo della Ragione, the Bo, the Botanical Garden, the many museums and much more Still. This long list, however, is not a valid excuse to lower one’s guard as mentioned and therefore the Municipal Administration must be able to react promptly by supporting its traders every year, depending on the difficulties linked to the economic situation of the moment. Without shops, without commerce, cities fall into the hands of degradation and die.
