“A ride in the Giro”the amateur cycling circuit, dedicated to customers and passionate cyclists, on the route of the Giro d’Italia organized by Banca Mediolanum, official sponsor of the Maglia Azzurra of the Mountain Grand Prix for twenty-two years, is ready to experience the fifth stage of the 2024 edition: from Viareggio to Lucca.

The initiative, organized by the longest-standing partner of the pink race, will give the numerous guests the opportunity to experience the emotion of the route with the champions in the Blue Jersey, anticipating the race by a few hours. With the testimonials of Banca Mediolanum Paolo Bettini, Alessandro Ballan, Maurizio Fondriest And Francesco Moserthe appointment is Wednesday 8 May to the Family Banker Office (FBO) of Viareggio in via Leonardo Da Vinci at 10.45am with the ride starting at 11.45am. The arrival is expected after 43 km Lucca in viale Giosuè Carducci at the finish line of the stage. Furthermore, Banca Mediolanum also renews its commitment alongside Mediolanum Foundation to help minors at risk with the “I want to go to school” project with the aim, during 2024, of preventing and combating minor school dropout together with Fondazione L’Albero della Vita ETS, Il Manto – Società Cooperativa Sociale e Centro Italian Children’s Aid ETS. The project will guarantee the right to education to 680 minors at risk of dropping out of school, offering them the opportunity to learn skills, acquire skills and cultivate passions and talents. Mediolanum Foundation will double the first 60,000 euros raised.
