RAI strike. Compact Venetian editorial team

RAI strike. Compact Venetian editorial team
RAI strike. Compact Venetian editorial team

Our editorial team responded unitedly to the strike called yesterday by Usigrai.
All colleagues on duty joined the protest, 22 out of 22. We are the only editorial office to have had 100% of journalists on strike.
No news, column or gr was broadcast, the website was updated, as required by the contract, with 2 contents over the course of the entire day and the 7.35 pm news was broadcast for 5 minutes without services, links and images.
Everyone’s participation demonstrates that faced with fundamental issues such as the autonomy and independence of the public service, rights, resources and projects for the future of Rai information, we have overcome divisions and, despite the different sensitivities, we are were able to respond with one voice.
Those who tried to derail the protest found no support in Veneto.
As Cdr we are proud of this result, happy that the reasons that led to a mobilization that has not been seen for years, necessary for what is happening in our company, have been understood and shared.
We share the contents of all the Usigrai documents from yesterday and we are truly grateful to all the editorial offices and press associations, in particular those in our territory, who wanted to demonstrate their support and sharing of our battle, understanding that it is being defended a good for everyone.
