FIDC CASERTA AND S. UBERTO: WINNING COMBINATION! – FIDC – Italian Hunting Federation

A true celebration of dog breeding was staged in Cellole (CE) on Sunday 5 May where the provincial phase of the Italian Sant’Uberto Championship took place at the ZAC “Polledrara” managed by Alfredo di Paolo.

The test, already planned for some time, was strongly supported by the newly elected Provincial Council and was organized and carried out under the guidance of Councilors Vincenzo Caccia and Giuseppe Pinelli, members of the old Provincial Sports Commission who, awaiting the post-election constitution of the new Commission they honored the commitment made by managing and taking care of everything down to the smallest details.

The determination in organizing and carrying out this test was given by the need to train new federal competition judges of the Sant’Uberto specialty but above all because Federcaccia Caserta fully complies with the directives and indications of the Federation at national level in this regard to the organization of sporting activities.

The presence in the area, the closeness shown to the hunters and the dynamism are characteristics that have always distinguished Federcaccia Caserta and which will always remain fundamental elements in the management of the Association at a provincial level.

Around 30 competitors took turns in the competition field under the judgement of Federal Judge Fiorenzo Tirelli of the provincial section of Benevento, who was joined by the trainees Aldo Di Brita from Benevento, Pasquale Sorrentino from Naples, Luca Casale and Francesco Di Monaco of Caserta, the latter passing the assistantship day with flying colors.

As per the regulations, the rankings were divided into Overall, Veterans and Under 30 categories.

For the “Assoluti” Antonio Stabile triumphed, becoming provincial champion, followed in second place by Silvio Sacco and in third place by Gianluca Di Matteo.

For the Veterans, Alfredo Di Paolo took first place while for the Under 30s, despite several participants, no one placed in the rankings.

Hunting supervision guaranteed by the provincial section of Caserta and thanks to Pietro Ciriello and Costantino Compasso.

During the awards ceremony held on the competition field, the Provincial Vice President Domenico Rispoli, on his first official outing, thanked the Provincial President Valerio Marcello Toscano for his availability and trust in organizing this test, the Councilors Caccia and Pinelli for the commitment made, the manager of the ZAC, Giovanni Picano of the Secretariat, all the competitors who attended and the sponsors who collaborated.

Also present was the provincial vice-president Fabio Zitiello, who with the other vice-president Carmelo Violante, absent for work reasons, collaborated closely with the Councilors delegated for the occasion.

Heartfelt and dutiful thanks to Luca Casale for his collaboration in the creation of beautiful sculptures intended for the awards, as well as Gianluigi Rotondo, collaborator in the graphic work of the diplomas awarded.

The presence of Aldo Di Brita as national representative of the National Youth Coordination of Federcaccia is important, an undisputed sign of the participation of young people in federal activities and in association management in general.

The path taken is certainly the right one and we must continue to work incessantly with unity of purpose and scrupulous planning.

Federcaccia Caserta !
