News that was in the air and that today the Vanoli Cremona company made official with a video on social media: Demis Cavina will remain on the bench of the blue and white team also for the 2024-2025 season and with him the entire coaching staff is confirmed.
A sign of continuity for a club that has achieved great goals in two years, from promotion to the top flight after just one year of purgatory in A2 and winning a treble which will remain in history with a record of 38 wins and 11 losses in Serie A2, to the salvation obtained with two days to spare and a victory over league leaders Brescia which exalted the entire PalaRadi.
Having played without any proclamations and considered by most to be among the candidates for the last positions, coach Cavina’s team demonstrated that they were capable of subverting the predictions, achieving unforgettable successes and climbing the rankings until they came close to reaching the Final Eight of the Italian Cup thanks to the team spirit. Despite having gone through difficult moments conditioned by injuries, most recently that of Davide Denegri, Vanoli has grown month after month, demonstrating to everyone that nothing is impossible when you fight together for a common goal.
“I am excited to continue this path and to do so with great energy – commented the coach – It is a privilege to feel so much trust and to be able to share certain values in which I firmly believe; for this I want to thank Aldo Vanoli and Andrea Conti with whom we will start again immediately with our heads down to achieve our next goal”.
The first step for next season has been taken, the next will be the confirmation of some of the blue and white protagonists that GM Andrea Conti will try to keep in Cremona.
