Good… the second: the Italian 4×100 relay team whose captain is Zaynab Dosso from Reggio Emilia, qualified for the Paris Olympics at the world championships held in the Bahamas by exploiting, or rather winning, the repechage.

In fact, the first series was not good and therefore the final was missed and there was no automatic entry into the qualifying lot.

Then, however, the repechages were played and it was a different Italy, also because the federal coach Di Mulo changed two out of four: Dosso and Dalia Kaddari remained, Anna Bongiorni out (physical problem during the warm-up) replaced by Irene Siragusa, but Alessia Pavese was also out and Arianna De Masi was preferred.

Zaynab Dosso runs two tenths better than the battery and launches Kaddari well, always effective on the straight; Siragusa launches as on the best days and hands over the baton of command to debutant Arianna De Masi, who brings the Italians to first place with a good result of 42”60 (best time of the entire repechage tournament); Ivory Coast second in 42”63 and qualified for the Games, outside Spain.

So Zaynab Dosso, a 24-year-old from Rubierese of the Fiamme Azzurre, will go to Paris both in the 100 individual meters (her performance in the 60 indoors is among the first in the world ever) and with the relay, where the group is well determined.
