In the women’s category, success for the Romanian Mihaela Robu (Run Card) in 1h.23’18”, Laura Sbrana (Podistica le Sbarre) also got on the podium in 1h24’17” and Rosalba Giansante (G. Orecchiella Garfagnana) in 1h24’45 ”. Finally, the first prize for the largest groupassigned to the Asd Marciatori Antraccoli with over 60 athletes.

A success in numbers with over 2000 presences in the two days of the event and above all a beautiful choreography, within the historic center and the sixteenth-century walls of the city, with theExpoinside Piazza Napoleone, with many participants from all over Italy, companions and numerous tourists who wanted to run the two events.
The start of the Lucca Half Marathon was given with the classic pistol shot at 9am by the Fidal official, with the favorites starting first and then following was a wave of athletes and the precious support of the Pacers Give me a smile with their colorful balloons and with the exceptional speaker Graziano Poli from the Apuan Alps Park, who accompanied all the athletes to the finish line until the last one.
