Employment Commission. “Ensure new hires at the Employment Agency immediately”. At today’s meeting, representatives of trade unions and entrepreneurs were appointed to the Agency’s board of directors. Prof. confirmed as president. Solomon. Cgil Cisl Uil renew their request to strengthen the Agency’s staff.
The first meeting of the Provincial Employment Commission for the new legislature was held this afternoon. Under the presidency of the councilor for labour, Achille Spinelli, the members of the Board of Directors of the Labor Agency of trade union and entrepreneurial designation were voted.
For the employers’ associations, the director of Confindustria Roberto Busato, the vice-president of UCTS, Marco Fontanari and the director of the Artisans Association, Nicola Berardi, have been confirmed. For the workers’ organizations, Andrea Grosselli (Cgil of Trentino), Lorenzo Pomini (CISL of Trentino) and Walter Largher (Uil of Trentino) join the board of directors. Councilor Spinelli informed the commission that Professor Riccardo Salomone, professor of labor law at the law department of the University of Trento, will be confirmed as president. The second expert designated by the Provincial Council will be professor Gabriella Berloffa, professor of economics politics at the department of economics and management. Now, with a resolution from the Council, the new board of directors of the Employment Agency, also composed of two managers from the Province itself, will be formally appointed and installed in the coming weeks.
At the end of the meeting of the provincial employment commission, the representatives of the trade union organizations urged the provincial council through councilor Spinelli to speed up the procedures for the hiring of workers in the employment centers by bringing forward the quota of employment to 2024. new hires that the council had foreseen at the end of the last legislature. In total there were at least 40 officials spread over the three-year period 2023-2025 who were supposed to cover turnover and strengthen the staff of public services for employment in the area.
The selection procedures for the first seven hires, scheduled for 2023, ended very late a few weeks ago. The rankings, which the council is preparing to officially close with a specific resolution, would however make it possible to guarantee the hirings foreseen also in 2024 and 2025. Hence the request of CGIL CISL UIL of Trentino to bring forward the hiring of all the new employees who among other things, they would make it possible to strengthen the labor policy interventions also financed in Trentino by the Gol program financed between now and 2026 with Pnrr resources.
