Thumbs up to Modena For sixth edition of Motor Valley Fest took place from 2 to 5 May 2024that with over 70 thousand visitors confirms itself as the reference event for lovers of two and four wheels and for the automotive sector.
Crowded squares and streets to see the most iconic cars and motorbikes up close. A true full immersion in the world of motoring excellence, which in Modena has found its beating heart in the Courtyard of Honor of Palazzo Ducale, home of the Modena Military Academy. An iconic place that welcomed almost 50 thousand visitors in just 3 days of opening Best of Motor Valleythe exhibition of cars and motorbikes from the Emilia-Romagna Land of Motors, an exclusive journey among supercars, motorbikes and vintage cars from the most famous brands and the Motor Valley racetracks.
Many enthusiasts and curious people also in the streets and squares of Modena, the stage for fashion shows and parades, including the 24th edition of the Concours d’Elegance Salvarola Terme Trophy, with its 66 exclusive cars departing from Salvarola Terme. The 200 cars and motorcycles also arrived at the Fest Supercars and motorcycles Motor Fest 2024 after crossing Romagna, the Romagna Riviera and the Via Emilia.
The events of Motor1.com Italia, through the format “In the Garage of…”, in Piazza Roma they won over the Motor Valley Fest audience, live and online. “Le Auto del Cinema”, the big brands of the Motor Valley, the YouTubers Carmageddon and the gathering of the Fiat “Pandini” attracted thousands of people in the shadow of the Academy, with hundreds of thousands of social views (over 200 thousand in one day those for “the lowest car in the world” by Carmageddon). The Modena Marzaglia racetrack was the protagonist over the weekend with “Hot Laps” by Invictus Corse And Modena Racing Festracing events in which a total of over 2 thousand people participated.
The inaugural conference of the Motor Valley Fest at the Pavarotti-Freni Theatre confirmed again this year to be the essential networking event for professionals, bringing together institutions, top managers, businesses and the world of training to debate current issues such as sustainability, but also AI and digitalisation, and also electric and alternative forms of sustainable mobility.
Over 166 international speakers participated in the 10 thematic talks of the complex conference program created with the support of Accenture, Bosch, Capgemini, Deloitte, EFESO Management Consultants: more than 700 spectators in the room for the opening conference, while in over 20 hours of in-depth discussions for the talks there were around 1000 spectators in attendance, not to mention those who chose to connect via streaming.
Record numbers also for Talent Talk “Innovation & Talents”, which took place between the MVA Headquarters and the AGO Foundation, with 1500 participants and 1000 in streaming connection from different countries, featuring 42 start-ups. Overall there were 11 meetings that allowed the students to come into contact with representatives of the top brands of the Motor Valley, automotive and training, including Maserati, Bosch, Pagani, Tesla, Dallara, Ducati, Automobili Lamborghini, Visa Cash App RB, F1 Team, Ferrari, Energica, MUNER-Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna.
Piazza Grande was the stage, for the first two days of the Fest, of thedisplay of Formula SAE cars designed by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, the University of Pisa, the University of Pavia, the Polytechnic of Milan, the University of Padua, the University of Bologna, the University of Brescia, the University of Salento, the University of Rome.
Even the younger ones had fun with it F1 in Schools Italythe event that preceded the final of the national competition which pits the talents of 28 teams from 21 secondary schools, which will be held on 16 June at the Dallara Academy headquarters in Varano de’ Melegari.
For lovers of art and motoring culture, great turnout in the Motor Valley museums that opened for the occasion, Enzo Ferrari Museum, Horacio Pagani Museum, Maserati – and for the exhibitions set up in the city and in the province. Over 4 thousand visitors to the Palazzo Solmi exhibition “High Speed – Speed and fashion in racing” (still open until May 19th) and events at the former day hotel.
Great interest has also attracted, among others, the TEDxModenawhich saw 17 speakers from the academic and entertainment world take turns on stage, registering a full house, with the participation of over 700 people in attendance.
The great open-air festival of the Land of Motors also involved foreign newspapers, with the presence in Modena of prestigious lifestyle magazines such as Maxim (USA), Luxmen and Esquire (Korea), Irish Post (Ireland), Motor 283 (UAE) and a famous influencer from the United Arab Emirates, who participated in an Educational Tour, to discover the excellence of the Modena area, organized by APT Servizi Emilia-Romagna.
