For secretary Elly Schlein “the Democratic Party in Perugia has made itself available to build a coalition capable of competing and winning with the right. This is a great example for us”. She underlined this by participating in an initiative in support of the mayoral candidate Vittoria Ferdinandi who leads a coalition with the Democratic Party, the 5 Star Movement and civic lists.
“An example that we are also seeing in other cities and regions – recalled Schlein – but it is inspiring when it works so well”.
“I am here in Perugia – the secretary reiterated – to support Vittoria Ferdinandi, a competent, passionate person who has demonstrated throughout her career her closeness to people’s needs. There is a need for listening in this city, for a relaunch , to rekindle hope. I am convinced that Vittoria Ferdinandi is the right person to do this in Perugia and I am very happy with the great enthusiasm that she has been able to gather around herself by holding together this plural, progressive coalition, committed to social justice, to quality work, for innovation and to restore good business opportunities”.
