“They sell alcohol to minors”, three clubs in Agrigento fined

The Agrigento Police Headquarters, during the checks carried out over the weekend, aimed at guaranteeing the safety and protection of citizens, as ordered by the Police Commissioner Dr. Tommaso Palumbo, focused on checks aimed at combating the administration and sale of drinks alcoholic beverages to minors.

The Agrigento Police operators, on the evening of Saturday 4 May, with specific and targeted services, have sanctioned three different commercial businesses, two in the city center and one in the seaside area of ​​San Leone, since they have been caught selling alcohol to underage boys and girls. For operators, the sanctions provided for by law have been applied for violating the regulations regarding the supply of alcoholic beverages to individuals who have not yet turned 18.

The police personnel also checked the administrative documentation in various Agrigento nightlife venues to check the regular possession of the licenses and the necessary documentation.

Furthermore, again during the checks scheduled for the weekend, another minor And was surprisedalso in the San Leone area, with a few grams of narcotic substance in his pocket, the reason for which the violation pursuant to art. 75 of Presidential Decree n. 309/90.

Another minor was caught driving a scooter without the necessary insurance policy. For this reason, the police proceeded with the administrative seizure of the vehicle.

Finally, the UPGSP staff tracked down a subject, burdened by numerous police records, against whom the Surveillance Magistrate, given the numerous violations of the obligations imposed, ordered the aggravation of probation with the alternative measure of the workhouse . The criminal had escaped police checks for a few days, but thanks to the seamless activity carried out by the Office, he was tracked down on Saturday evening and associated with the Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto prison.
