The protest by the autoferrotranvieri was decided – we read in a USB note – «to demand wages, safety and rights, central themes on which the category contract renewal platform that USB presented to the employers’ associations is based. Employers’ associations who did not feel like giving us any feedback, as an express and clear desire not to want to face a real confrontation in any way.” According to the union, there has been a lack of “real investments for the implementation of services, the efficiency of vehicles and safety in the workplace, in defiance of citizens’ right to mobility”.

There is also another strike on the calendar today: the one proclaimed by the journalists’ union of the public television Usigrai to protest against the company’s choices in terms of personnel management and to claim their autonomy and freedom in the face of “censorship attempts”.
