Employees of Molise companies worried about their future

CAMPOBASSO – In Molise in 2023, five out of one hundred workers employed in local companies say they are worried about their working conditions. In essence, they believe that in the next six months it is probable that they will lose their current job and that it will be unlikely, if at all, that they will find another similar one. The analysis was conducted by the CGIA which extrapolated the data from the ‘Equal Sustainable Wellbeing’ (Bes) Report recently presented by Istat.

The fear of losing one’s job is widespread especially in the South. The most critical situations concern those employed in Calabria (5.9%), those in Sicily (6.4%) and, in particular, those in Basilicata (8.8%). The most ‘serene’, however, are the workers of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano: in 2023 only 2.4% expressed a perception of insecurity in their job.
