The Sempione Park in Turin, one of the busiest parks in the city, is about to be transformed by a public lighting improvement project. Thanks to this initiative, the green area will become more Safe and welcoming during the evening hours.
The project
The work of improving thepublic lighting at Sempione Park was conceived with the aim of improving the visitor experience. The Department of the Environment worked closely with District 6 to plan and implement this intervention. The latter, in fact, already in 2021, the 6th District had expressed the need for works to improve public lighting in the area. The heart of the project consists in replacement of the light tower existing with garden lighting poles equipped with LED optics. This choice will allow for more uniform and diffused light, ensuring better visibility throughout the entire park area. The process of implementing the public lighting improvement project in Sempione Park was carefully planned and coordinated.
