“My first year in D was certainly positive, I knew there would be difficulties: as a team we could have given more, just as I certainly should have done some things better. But I still haven’t had time to make a total assessment of the year, I reserve the right to do it later”.
Marco Coppa, Akragas coach, at the end of the home success against Portici which closed the championship, also spoke about his personal season, his first in D.
“It was a good debut – he began – we weren’t a team called upon to win every match, so it was normal to foresee positive moments and negative ones. The certainty is that Akragas certainly didn’t do badly, I would like to point this out. This year, in my opinion, a very important thing has happened for Akragas: the growth of some young people who were not thought to be able to grow so much. I think this is the biggest victory for the club, these guys will gain experience next year in their baggage. I want to thank my staff – he concluded – an important job has been done throughout the season”.
