- Montecchio Maggiore
- Treviso
Sunday 5 May 2024 – 9.20 pm – Author: Pietro Zaja
Perticone is forced to stop at four victories in a row since he took over as coach of Treviso. Having sacked Michele Florindo, the former Cittadella defender had taken the reins of the team, leading them to four consecutive victories, until this afternoon, when the Biancocelesti fell to Tenni 0-2 against Fabrizio Cacciatore’s Montecchio Maggiore. The goals from Visinoni and Manarin were decisive during the first 9 minutes of the match, with Treviso then unable to close the gap and regain the result. A match which, however, would not have been useful for the purposes of the ranking, given that the Marca team had already closed the third place practice with the away victory at Atletico Castegnato 1-2 last weekend. Montecchio surprise, however. The team of the former Chievo Verona player finished their season with 51 points, just 3 points away from the playoff zone. The next match for Treviso, however, is set for next Sunday at the Tenni stadium at 4.00 pm, for the match in the first round of the playoffs against fourth-placed Bassano.
