All ready for the markets Fiorimpopoli Saturday and Sunday: the streets of the center of Forlimpopoli will be invaded by craft markets, exhibitions of garden and vegetable plants and the 12th “Agricultural machinery and equipment fair”. But also food stands, music, shows and lots of fun for adults and children, without forgetting lunches and dinners in Piazza Garibaldi. But here are the events from Friday to Sunday in the area.

The traditional one returns on Friday Intergenerational party ”The sky belongs to everyone”, from the title of a famous poem by Gianni Rodari: the day will be dedicated to the writer, teacher and pedagogist in the Green Area of ​​Via Dragoni which includes old-fashioned games, Pompieropoli, readings and stories of the Romagna tradition, sport and outdoor movement open, art, workshops and craftsmanship. On Saturday the art historian Marco Vallicelli will lead a guided tour of the Small church of the former Meldola Hospitalrebuilt in 1604 by Cardinal Pietro Aldobrandini based on a design by Giovan Battista Aleotti, is set in the building of the former Hospital of the Santissimo Crocefisso, the small church, which is owned by the Romagna AUSL, constitutes a precious exhibition space used for exhibitions under concession to the Municipality of Meldola. Rocca delle Caminate can be visited again by the public during the weekend: for all those who go up to the fortress for the visit, the cultural itinerary is available, consisting of 24 panels, divided into two parts: the first tells the thousand-year-old history from the origins, while the second focuses on on the events of the twentieth century.

A comic show, but at the same time poetic, where the audience is catapulted into a room full of old suitcases, hats, soap bubbles and many other objects from which a show for all ages is born: the appointment is with “The room of memories” by Katastrofa Clown, Saturday at the Teatro Verdi in Forlimpopoli. The second edition of Pilgrim Days provides various moments of meeting, study and discussion in proximity to the Feast of San Pellegrino Laziosi, on May 1st: on Saturday in the Basilica of Piazza Morgagni, the recited reading “Let’s meet them together, San Pellegrino Laziosi and Father David Turoldo of the Servants of Mary” is scheduled ”.

New debut on stage for Suxnovae theater companion, of the “La Tana” Youth Aggregation Center, this year for the first time with an unpublished text, written by two of the company’s young actors: the charity show will be staged on Saturday and Sunday at the Maria Graffiedi multipurpose room in Vecchiazzano. Sunday at Cusercoli Castle Denis Campitelli in “A trebbo with Shakespeare”: in the show an old manuscript tells of the spirits of Hamlet, Romeo, Juliet and Othello, strictly in Romagna dialect.

The exhibition is open at San Domenico in Forlì Pre-Raphaelites. Modern Renaissancedirected by Gianfranco Brunelli and edited by Elizabeth Prettejohn, Peter Trippi, Francesco Parisi and Cristina Acidini: through approximately 300 works including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, furniture, ceramics, glass and metal works, fabrics, medals, books illustrated books, manuscripts and jewels, the exhibition will tell this story by placing for the first time, thanks to the generous loans granted by European museums, a substantial representation of Italian models, including works by ancient masters, alongside British works.

The exhibition opens on Saturday “Disfigured Romagna”, created by the photographer Silvia Camporesi, at the Sala del Palazzo del Monte di Pietà: the exhibition of the photographer from Forlì is proposed on the occasion of the anniversary of the flood. Recent and unpublished photos will be exhibited, the result of the “Romagna disfigured” project, together with the re-presentation of photos from the “Submerged people saved” exhibition hosted at the former seminary last autumn.

The exhibition opened its doors on Saturday at the MAF Archaeological Museum of Forlimpopoli “Traces” of the painter Carlo Cola: born in Cesena, but has long been a Forlimpopolise by adoption, the artist returns to one of his recurring themes, the house, or perhaps it would be better to say the houses, as an intimate and evocative place: with his painting warm and sumptuous, in his works Cola wants to tell the stories of those who lived in places that were once lively and popular; places full of traces. His name is “Nostalgia for the future in Capri” the exhibition of the painter Miria Malandri set up in the “Mario Bertozzi” Exhibition Room in Forlimpopoli: the exhibition is inspired by the film ‘Capri revolution’ by Mario Martone released in 2018: the director took inspiration from the story of the German painter Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach, who in 1914 he founded a rebel community on the island involving other young artists from Northern Europe and Russia.
