At Mirabello the Devils won 22-17 and now have the chance, next Saturday in Viadana, to achieve a goal they have dreamed of for years
REGGIO EMILIA – The adventure begins very well Valorugby in these championship playoffs. The Devils have in fact folded Colorno 22-17 at “Mirabello” in the first match of the mini group with a view to the final.
The hosts managed the match already in the first half, which closed at 15-10 thanks to tries from Giulio Bertaccini (with a splendid personal action) and Marco Silva. In the second half, Francesco Colombo’s third goal made the comeback attempt of the Parma team in vain and they only scored at the end of time to set the final score at 22-17.
So does the head coach Marcello Violi at the end of the match: “We are happy to have given this victory to our fans, who really made themselves heard. We will need all of them next Saturday in Viadana.” Now, in fact, between Valorugby and the championship final there are the Mantuans. Next Saturday at the “Zaffanella” it will be a straight match with the two teams arriving at the decisive clash after both having overcome Colorno.
