Update – Kenyan Timothy wins Kangogo with a race that was practically entirely solo given that he started to break away from everyone after 7 km, he won in 1.01.32. According to the Kenyan Kiprop Kororia (in 1.03.33), third Daniel Meucci (on 1.05.07). The Italian from the Army finished third, an Italian had been missing from the podium since 2013. At the 27th edition the event has become an event not to be missed: godmother of the event will be Maria Guida, European Marathon champion in 2002 in Monaco, multiple Italian champion of the Cross, Marathon and 10,000 metres; it will be she, together with the various civil and military authorities, who will deliver cups and trophies to the first place winners (three men and three women), plus the first and first place among the athletes from Piacenza.
