This afternoon, the heart of Alexandria was the stage for a significant event dedicated to the celebration of diversity, feminism and the fight against gender violence. The initiative, entitled “It is not time to stop, if not to listen”, took place in via San Lorenzo, involving numerous participants in a traveling journey of poems and readings.

The event, organized by Sin Art, La Città Nostra and me.dea, was part of the Alpride project, which promotes art as a means to address and discuss important social issues. Starting from 4.00 pm, starting from Piazza Marconi, the shows followed one another every 30 minutes, animating the streets with messages of inclusion and respect.

Participation was free and open to all, attracting a varied audience, eager to listen and reflect on the topics proposed. This event provided a platform where diverse voices found space to express themselves, allowing the public to deepen their understanding of others’ stories and perspectives.

The success of the event demonstrates the community’s growing interest in issues of equity and social justice and underlines the importance of dialogue and listening in a society that aspires to be increasingly inclusive and aware.
