One of the most awaited weekends of the year has arrived in Velletri, that of Feast of the Madonna delle Graziewhich will reach its climax with the Solemn Procession of the Candleswhich as usual will attract thousands of citizens, who will escort the Holy Images through the streets of the city.
After the triduum of preparation at the beginning of May and the Torchlight procession of Peace on Friday 3 May (CLICK HERE to find out how it went), Saturday 4 May the city of Velletri will return to embrace the Our Lady of Graces and carry it in procession.
Organized by the Suburbicaria Velletri – Segni Diocese and the local Confraternity, the celebrations will end on Monday 6 May, with the Reposition of the Holy Image. Much anticipation for the 411th edition of Procession of the Ceri, which will unfold from the Basilica starting from 7.30pm on Saturday 4 May, to return no earlier than midnight.
