It will be held on Thursday 9 May, from 3.00 pm, at the new entrance of theSanta Maria Annunziata hospitalL’open day “Maternity from around the world in the Annunziata hospital: cultures and needs compared”. Motherhood represents an important element of a woman’s identity and existence and involves families and often entire communities. The structuring of paths that allow the protection of such a delicate moment and the promotion of health are important for hospital workers. The event, conceived from the perspective of one sharing services for all womenplaces motherhood at the center of the event, with a strong spirit of sharing and inclusion of families, friends and acquaintancesi.e. through the reception capacity and the commitment of operators in favor of integration and ease of access to healthcare services.

Many topics were covered during the day. After the introduction by the mayor of Bagno a Ripoli, Alberto Mattei, Elettra Pellegrino, Paolo Zoppi, Arianna Maggiali and Giovanna Mereu, the speeches will follow: “Hospital services” by Riccardo Cioni and GianPaolo Mirri; “Women, clinics and integration with the hospital” by Valeria Dubini; “The commitment of the different professional figures of our Birth Center and the needs of women” by Eleonora Nardi and Martina Mastropietro; “The role of the anesthetist” by Vittorio Pavoni and Laura Salucci; “The birth office and the management of administrative procedures” by Silvia Pecorini; “Health promotion in pregnant women” by Cristina Del Pezzato.

From 3.00pm to 4.00pm, there will also be a simultaneouslaboratory activity organized by the volunteers of Heart4Children APS and the “Piccola Artemisia” family center, during which the little guests will be cheered up with pleasant gifts.

After the end of the speeches, the day will end with a snack and musical choir with the New Corale Alessandri.
