The curtain officially opens on the championship playoffs for Bitonto, who will visit the Kick Off in Lombardy in the first leg of the quarter-finals.

THE PREMISES – With an eighth place in the standings and twenty-two points scored during the regular season, the Milanese are one of the most difficult opponents to face because, as also demonstrated in the Final Eight of the Italian Cup, in the elimination matches they change face and it is never easy to face them . On the other hand, however, there will be a Bitonto who will be leaders from the first to the last day and who, after an encore in the cup, also want to grant it in the championship, because whoever goes and sews the tricolor on their chest then earns qualification for the next Champions League. An appointment that the black-green lionesses, good at closing the season with fifty-seven points, absolutely do not want to miss. The tricolor dream, therefore, begins. The match will be refereed by Stefano Mestieri (first referee), Andrea Colombo (second), Daniele Biondo (fourth) and Davide De Ninno (timekeeper). See you on Sunday 5 May at the Sports Hall of Parco Mattei in San Donato Milanese for Kick Off-Bitonto. Start at 3pm, live streaming as always on Futsaltv.it and full replay of the match on TRM Network channel 16) Tuesday evening at 10.30pm and Wednesday at 4.30pm).

MARZUOLI – Gianluca Marzuoli expects a very balanced round: “The Kick Off is absolutely not what we saw in the championship, it is a team that eliminated the second in the standings in the cup and therefore should be taken absolutely with a grain of salt. Furthermore, in this first game we arrive with the difficulties of the long journey and therefore everything presents itself as a great unknown. We are working well and we limited the celebrations for the cup to a few days, then the preparation started again to ensure we are at our best for the start of the playoffs. We’ll give it our all and then we’ll see if we were good enough to continue or not.”

LUCILÉIA this is his third participation in the playoffs in as many years of stay in Bitonto: “Undoubtedly when I accepted the president’s challenge I didn’t think I would live this fairy tale. Everything has been beautiful so far. And not because we won but because of the magic that is around the team. These days, meeting students in schools, I realized how curious they are to know everything about us as players and women and then we all find them at the stadium for the matches. It’s been wonderful so far, we must continue to give our best because this city deserves the best. It’s the least we can do. It certainly won’t be easy, we will have to sweat a lot and we should be at 100% to get through but we have to believe in it until the end.”
