Italy won the silver medal in the junior team competition of the European Championships 2024 women’s artistic gymnastics. Our National under 16 team she concluded the competition with a score of 153.527, unfortunately paying for five falls in the rotation on the beam and thus bowing before France, set with 155,763. The Italians were thus unable to defend the title they took home two years ago from Monaco, but in front of the public at the Rimini Fair they still managed to confirm themselves on the continental podium, demonstrating the quality of the Italian movement.

Emma Fioravanti he finished in fourth place on the full lap with a score of 49.864 (13.366 on the board, 12.066 on the bars, 11.166 on the 10 cm, 13.266 on the square), just ahead of Benedetta Gava (49,798: 13,866, 11,266, 11,833, 12,833). The cover was taken by the Frenchwoman Elena Colas, author of a race of great impact: 13.866 on vault with a double twist, superb parallel bars of 13.900, 12.466 on beam despite a fall, 13.033 on floor exercise. The Frenchwoman won the all-around with 53.265, celebrating on the podium together with Maiana Prat (third with 50,899). Belgium third in the team competition with 148.662 ahead of Germany (148.063) and Great Britain (147.531).
